I am impressed by the authenticity and professionalism of these two trainers. Les and Martin facilitated a very effective life skills course to a multicultural group of undergraduate and post-graduate students at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. The focus of the course was on managing financial resources, developing educational skills, and improving and enhancing employment and employability opportunities.

These two facilitators provided interactive opportunities for course participants to learn and critically reflect on a range of relevant theories, concepts, and skills relating to essential life challenges and opportunities. The course content was supported and enhanced with effective life experience examples and expertise provided by the two facilitators.

The presentation of Les and Martin was also distinctive and impactful in that these life skills were delivered in a teaching and learning environment that integrated specific personal life skills within a principled context. The skill of effective financial management was for example considered not only from the perspective of individual financial independence and security but also from an increased ability to help others, including family, and to engage in charitable activities. This ability to provide a   meaningful perspective to improving essential life skills can be said to be a particular USP of these two facilitators. This approach certainly strengthened the learning environment on the course in Preston and resulted in course participants taking on new ideas in a more holistic and effective way.

The course delivered by Les and Martin provided real time opportunities for a diverse group of young students to learn practical skills affecting some fundamental life challenges and opportunities. The facilitation was expert and supportive of both individual and group needs. The content and delivery were relevant and very effective. The mix of expertise, experience, and authenticity of these two facilitators suggests that the impact of courses provided by them will be significant and long lasting.
